Data Procurement Request for Proposals

Transportation Datasets

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Geospatial Management Office (GMO) provides timely, relevant, and accurate geospatial intelligence, analytical services, mission specific data, and information solutions to policy decision makers and federal agencies in support of the nation’s homeland security initiatives.

DHS is the geospatial data broker, integrator, and consolidator building a single Homeland Infrastructure Foundation Level Data (HIFLD) Program geospatial database to support domestic operational, situational, and strategic awareness of the nation’s infrastructure to support crisis and consequence management, preparedness planning, and critical infrastructure analysis and protection.

MHM Integrity Management Consulting (hereafter referred to as Integrity), on behalf of DHS GMO is seeking geospatial data to support their mission. The first round of geodata procurement yielded no recommendation for the Transportation dataset based on the value to DHS. We are therefore attempting to Identify additional submissions in order to gain the best value for this dataset. We seek a Transportation dataset to license on the Homeland Infrastructure Foundation-Level Data (HIFLD) resource as part of the secure Geospatial Information Infrastructure (GII).
