INTEGRITY DIRECTOR MIKE IPSARO SHARES EXPERTISE WITH ACQUISITION PROFESSIONALS
Tysons, VA – March 26, 2019 — Integrity Management Consulting, Inc. announced today that Technical Director, Mike Ipsaro, was selected to participate in the sixth Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Reverse Industry Day co-sponsored by the Professional Services Council. The purpose of Reverse Industry Day is to provide DHS acquisition professionals with opportunities to learn from industry leaders how they can enhance the business environment at DHS. The theme of this year’s Reverse Industry Day was “Managing Performance and Achieving Mission Success” and included a keynote address from DHS Chief Procurement Officer, Soraya Correa.
Mr. Ipsaro served on a panel in the second session which was entitled “Why Industry Values the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR).” The purpose of this session was to share key insights on what drives successful outcomes. The industry representatives described the attributes that make a successful COR, practical steps a COR should take to address unforeseen challenges such as key personnel leaving the contract, and the importance of good communication and collaboration.
